A Flat water Race for Chronic Stand Up Paddlers

The Lake Mary Jane Paddle Race is Orlando’s Largest SUP Race for Chronic Paddlers building and connecting the paddle community with a fun and charitable event for all experience and competitive levels, ages and paddle craft. The race is a spectator and family friendly event that includes a DJ, food trucks, lawn games, playground, floating island, raffle and more! Lake Mary Jane Paddle Race is the final race in the Fastest In Florida Points Series!

Stand Up Paddleboard, Paddleboards, Kayak, Canoe, Outrigger, Surf Ski, K1, etc.

All may race for time with awards based on participation (at least 5 participants registered in each class).

When turning Left on Lake Mary Jane Rd from Moss Park Rd, the park will be 3mi down on the right (just after Flo Rd. on the left & just before Nell Dr.) – marked by vertical flags and sign.

9am: We will begin promptly with 6mi followed immediately by 3mi, 1mi, Kids Race, Drag Race Sprint, and Tug Life Relay.

Awards ceremony, raffle, and Tijuana Flats-catered athlete’s lunch immediately following all races (around 12:30pm).

Werner Paddles Social Paddle with Jeramie Vaine
Friday Sept. 23rd 5pm on Lake Mary Jane for Donation Only! This mellow paddle will bring us around beautiful Lake Mary Jane the night before the race. If you have questions on stroke technique, race strategy, equipment or anything related to SUP and the SUP industry, ask away. This is an open forum aimed at helping to provide information on all things SUP with a hands on experience. There will be Werner Paddles available for demo allowing paddlers to experience different length and blade size paddles. Let’s all get together and support our amazing community by getting everyone out on the water!

The clinic will be donation based with all the proceeds going to support OneOrlando Fund, benefitting the victims and families of the tragedy that rocked Orlando at Pulse Night Club. Let’s all get together and support our amazing community by getting everyone out on the water!

Jeramie Vaine’s Bio: Jeramie is a Professional Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Athlete, CorePower Yoga 200-hour Power Yoga certified instructor, SUP Yoga Instructor and WPA Level 2 SUP Instructor. In 2011 he was introduced to both SUP and Yoga, where a love for a healthy, active lifestyle was born. He has been given the opportunity to share his knowledge of the benefits of SUP, SUP Yoga and yoga by teaching at Wanderlust Festivals,WPA SUP Certifications, Paddle with the Pros clinics by Werner Paddles, SUP Yoga Teacher Trainings and SUP clinics throughout North America. As an avid SUP and SUP Yoga Instructor, SUPRacer, SUP Surfer and SUP Adventurer his travels allow him to bring his passions to paddlers around the world, relating to many different demographics. Along with his travels and teachings, Jeramie’s contribution to print and online media sources as well as his social media presence has allowed him to connect with people outside of the SUP and SUP Yoga communities, introducing more people to the benefits of this lifestyle. Jeramie ‘s vision is to expose SUP, SUP Yoga, Yoga and the benefits of healthy living to people throughout the world!
