“Get Stoked” covers fundamentals of alignment & core stability, building a strong physical, mental & emotional foundation from which to safely & effectively progress. This program introduces principles of a variety of training modalities & correct use of performance products. Participants will gain essential knowledge/skills & adherence techniques to apply to all 3 programs & new wellness lifestyle. Outside of training sessions, participants are expected to blog interactively to support each other with nutrition & fitness goals on a private WOW blog site.

Day 1: Core Small Apparatus: introducing BOSU, squishy ball, & stabili-ball to further challenge core muscles, balance & stabilizers
Day 2: Specialty Aquatics: total body resistance training with cardio & balance intervals using high density noodles with adaptable resistance levels
Day 3: Cardio Intervals: cardio intervals covering minimalist running techniques with “outdoor fitness” using natural structures for strength/balance intervals for active recovery.
Day 1: SUP 101: stand up paddleboarding fundamentals covering alignment/stability, safety, forward paddle, back paddle, c-turn, & more
Day 2: Surf 101: land pop-up/surf stance drills, paddling fundamentals of alignment/stability/power, seated balance on board, ditch & dive, turtle roll, breath retention, SubSkate maneuvers
Day 3: Land Paddling: beginning on mat/grass with fundamentals of alignment/stability/stance/holding the stick, safety technique on braking with stick/bailouts, then partner drills assisting on concrete track for supported stability & confidence, then independently land paddling on flat concrete track
