Activities Included
Whale Watching
They’ll take your breath away! Every year, between December and April, humpback whales can be seen in the waters around Punta de Mita. They leave their summer feeding grounds, migrating from Northern California to mate and give birth in the warm, calm waters of Banderas Bay. Watch as giant males gain the attention of females by putting on a magical show of breaching, slapping their tails and fins, and singing. Witness mothers nurturing and teaching their curious calves. Whales are so abundant here you can see them while eating breakfast from the penthouse balcony, surfing the lineup, touring on your paddleboard and from our private boat charter. On the boat trip we'll get a much closer view, learn all about the whales, and even hear their melodic songs through a hydrophone!
World Famous "Hidden Beach" Exploration
A day on the boat has never been so fun and diverse! This is a special, private boat tour around the unique landscape of the uninhabited Marietas Islands - well, uninhabited by humans, but home to the rare Blue Footed Boobies - otherwise only found in the Galapagos Islands. Swim into the world-famous "Hidden Beach,” a gaping hole in the surface of the lush green island that opens onto a secret beach, with ample shade, sun, caves, and crystal-clear water. This beach is consistently listed in the Top 10 Beaches in the World. Snorkel amongst beautiful reefs teeming with marine life like tropical fish and spotted eagle rays. Boat into towering crevices filled with turquoise water, This protected National Park and biosphere reserve will keep you entertained and buzzing all day!
In-home, Private Chef Dining
Get spoiled by our private chefs, cooking gourmet meals right in our penthouse. When he’s not prepping the finest flavors for you, Chef Octavio cooks at 5-star restaurant in Puerto Vallarta visited by celebrities and royalty alike. Return from SUP yoga to find a delicious breakfast warm and waiting for you, walk in from whale watching to the smell of fresh enchiladas filling the air. And his guacamole is unparalleled. All ingredients are local, and meals are made with love including a main/protein, veggie, fresh squeezed juice, side, and dessert. Dietary preferences and restrictions will also be catered to.
Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)
Elevate your well-being from the therapeutic benefits of paddling - emotionally, physically and mentally. Enjoy daily convenient, full access to SUP and surfboard rentals. Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard (or brush up on technique) with pro instructor, Jessica Cichra. Enjoy a guided tour of Mexico's mountainous coastline in the Bay of Banderas watching for breaching whales, puffer fish, spotted eagle rays and more. Then use the boards whenever your heart desires, located just two minutes walking distance from your room. And you won’t believe your eyes, it’s like paddling through a painting.
Surf Lesson
Feel the glide! Learn to surf by our favorite local, pro surf school. The waves here are great for learning and we’ll even have a private boat escort to the breaks with the day’s most ideal conditions. Then use your skills to practice out front the rest of the week as there are 3 surf breaks in walking distance from your room! Not up for surfing? We can progress your paddling technique instead, safely on the outside of the breaking waves, or simply kick back and enjoy the gorgeous beach with endless entertainment by local surfers. There’s something for every one!
Taco Tour and Tequila Tasting
Savor Mexico’s finest flavors. Start by sampling the 4 different types of tequila, with a variety of ways to taste and toast, while learning the history and differences between them. Fiesta, dancing and singing ensues! We also explore the village with our infamous Taco Tour, by tasting it’s best, fresh taco stands and small, local restaurants. Your taste buds will delight!
Beach Yoga & Meditation
Just to bliss you out a little more, we’ll have 2 yoga practices on the beach with a picturesque view of the bay at golden hour. Restore and rejuvenate your body, cultivate peace, presence and relaxation to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. We include mindful meditations and short journaling exercises to set the tone with present-moment awareness and connection. No experience required, class is designed for all levels.
Luxury Accommodations
Enjoy ocean-view and comfortable accommodations in the Ventana Del Mar Penthouse, located within the El Anclote Condominiums. Gorgeously decorated, open floor plan with dining areas inside and out, ocean views across all of the common spaces, full length balcony with 2 lounge areas, and two living rooms with entertainment center. This gated community includes well maintained and tropical grounds, a pristine pool, hot tub (that’s actually hot and has jets), tennis court, wifi, AC, and private skybridge for quick access to beach, shops and restaurants - all steps away.

Yes! We would never organize a vacation in a location that was not safe for our guests. We understand there are areas of Mexico that are not safe for travel, however Mexico is a massive country and Punta de Mita is in a very safe area. Since the surfing, boho days of the 60’s this area prides itself in hospitality, so much so the Four Seasons/St. Regis compound decided to build next door. It’s a vacation destination for local families as well as A-list celebrities, yet still overflows with local charm vs a cookie-cutter resort. In fact there are quite a few expats that call it home. We think it’s the perfect balance of local vibe and tourist comfort.

Of course, we host lots of solo travelers. If you don’t want a private room we will pair you with another awesome adventurer of the same gender. Often these roommate pairings are the beginning of a lasting friendship. Or, if you find a friend to come with, we’ll give you $50 off. Traveling in a mindful, small group environment builds deep bonds, faster than any situation we’ve ever encountered. Our participants quickly become a tribe - so you may show up solo, but you’ll leave with a family.

Absolutely! We celebrate diversity - it’s how we really connect and learn from each other - which is a big piece of our adventures! Often our older guests inspire our younger guests, showing them adventure lasts a lifetime, and are empowered themselves by continuing to try new things. Activities may be modified to suit you when possible (just ask) and remember, all of the activities are included, but it’s your vacation - you may opt out whenever you want.

We love kiddos and all of our trips are offered as private bookings for families with kids under 18. Private bookings are on your schedule and up to 10 people - perfect for a large family or 2 small families (please inquire about availability and rates). Our public trips are for adults 18 years and older.

Yes! We have experienced, certified, and quality instructors to teach you. We’ve successfully taught many beginners to paddleboard, practice yoga, snorkel, surf, and much more! Our supportive group environment makes for a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable learning experience. Our trips encourage stepping outside of your comfort zone to feel alive and empowered. Plus, how cool will it be to say you learned to stand up paddle in Mexico?!

Although we have a fine balance of action and downtime, we have plenty of guests who prefer to kick back and relax the entire time. We honor what you want to do on your vacation and respect you for doing just that. We also make sure our accommodations offer the perfect space for relaxation. And, we have lots of alternatives to activities, like boating or walking instead of paddling, etc. Just ask and we’ll fill you in on the ways we may customize your ultimate vacation.
